Hello there! How wonderful are these days between Christmas and New Year? I love that no-one has anywhere to rush off to or any specific time they have to get up in the morning. I love that there is time to get those little jobs around the house done that have eluded us throughout the year and that there is time for little day trips – though we haven’t done any so far due to the wet weather – but it doesn’t matter!
I wanted to pop in to wish you an enjoyable last couple of days of 2014 and get in a little early to wish you a very Happy New Year! It’s always a great feeling to have a fresh start and when we wake on 1 January 2015 it is a fresh new year and a fresh new start for each and every one of us.
I’ll be back regularly on the blog in the week beginning 5 January 2015. A sneak peek of what’s coming up is Mindful Monday where we will be looking at the Attitude of Trust, on Tuesday I will be revealing my ‘word’ for 2015 and then we have Wordless Wednesday!
Today is dog bathing day around these parts as well as house cleaning and tidying with a side of cooking preparations for tomorrow. Tomorrow morning we celebrate my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday and later in the day I have family coming over to celebrate New Year’s Eve. We will eat, drink, chat and try to stay awake until midnight! lol
I hope that whatever you are doing, you have a smile on your dial and keep it there for 1 January 2015 so that the new year can be kicked off on a positive and happy note! 😉
Ciao for now,
p.s. The photograph used for today’s post is of the view from our apartment when we stayed at Burleigh Heads before Christmas (the straight out front and centre angle anyway). Gorgeous isn’t it?!!
