In October 2015, the tennis player and I went to Hervey Bay in order to go whale watching. It is something that I had wanted to do for a long time! I haven’t got around to editing all the photographs I took while whale watching yet so will save all the details on that experience to go with those photographs and that post.
Meanwhile, in the late afternoon after returning from whale watching, I decided to go for a bit of a walk along the esplanade near where we were staying and take a few photographs, and it is some of those that I share with you today.
Newsflash
I have just discovered and worked out how to insert a Gallery. This should make it much easier to view the images at full size. Just click on the first thumbnail and then right arrow your way through the images. What do you think – better or prefer the other way? I have still included one image in full at the top of this post for the purposes of pinning to Pinterest. Blogging – always learning!!

What a beautiful spot! Beautiful photos 🙂
Thanks Kate! 🙂
Clever girl working out how to use the gallery! But, I think I like big pics best. Less clicking 😉
Can’t believe I forgot to check out the gallery for so long. I thought this way was less clicking? One click and then you see image large and right arrow the way though (ahhh you must be referring to the arrowing your way through images). I suppose it depends on whether you want to see images at full size or not. The previous way there was no clicking unless you wanted to see image at full size. Then it was about 3 clicks to see it at full size and another 3 clicks to get back to original page. Hmmm …I’m so confused now as to which is the preferable way! lol
Oh lovely Min! I’ve not been to Hervey Bay, looks idyllic! And go you on the techonology!! xx
Thanks Steph! 🙂 xo
I’m a bit like Janet and like the bigger pictures. I suppose though it depends on how many pictures you are posting.
Thanks Raychael – yes and like I said in response to Janet – it all depends on whether you’re wanting to view the images at full size or not. *sigh* – still not sure which way is best. Maybe big for less and little for more? 😉 xo
I like the little photos but maybe that’s because the big photos are always slow to load on my iPad ( and I’m not the most patient of people lol). Hervey Bay is a beautiful place.
Thanks for your feedback! When it comes to technology and gadgets I’m not the most patient of people either! lol 😉 x
