You’ve reminded me I need to revisit my 5 before 50 list. I’ve done one thing on it but need to get my act together on some of the other things!

Oh I wish I were still ‘before 50’ LOL!! I’ll have to go see what your 5 before 50 are!

Great list Min! I’m definitely into seeing more of Australia, but would also like to do an adventure photography workshop and take a holiday in a houseboat. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂

    • Reply Min April 6, 2017 at 11:11 am

All such fun things aren’t they? Hope I get to do them all. You’re far ahead of me with regards to seeing more of Australia!! 😉

Oh how I love a good bucket list. We’ve ticked off 2 from mine this holiday: eat pho in Hanoi and cruise Halong Bay. As for your no 4 – can I recommend zip lining in Queenstown? Phenomenal experience! #teamlovinlife

I’m loving your photo’s from Vietnam – such colour and happy faces! Oh and the food – YUM! Thanks for the Queenstown tip – I’ll look it up! 🙂

Love your list, such an important thing to keep in mind. My list would include more overseas travel and that would definitely mean Canada and that train trip as well. Have fun ticking them off.

    • Reply Min April 6, 2017 at 11:15 am

My overseas travel is miniscule so far so I have much catching up to do. I have only been to Singapore (many years ago), New Caledonia and Vanuatu (both on recent cruise). I’ve been to Norfolk Island (back in 1985) – not overseas but it did require a passport! Hopefully I can add to my O/S list very soon. 🙂

    Great list Min.

I offer my services as chauffer, tour guide and chef for the Great Ocean Road part of your tour and as host for the Port Fairy Folk Music Festival, the best and amongst the oldest music festival in this country.

Regarding number seven the United States hasn’t really attracted me, and even less son since the assumption of the great orange one, but several years ago I saw a film called “A River Runs Through It” Not an especially strong movie regarding plot and Brad Pitt is NOT my cup of tea. However the film was shot across the four seasons in the wilds of Montana and the scenery was literally breathtakingly beautiful. So that would be a place that would draw me. If you haven’t seen this movie its worth the investment of two hours.

    Ciao

    Patrick

Thanks Patrick – of course living in Geelong that’s like the gateway to The Great Ocean Road I think? I didn’t realise there was a Folk Music Festival in Port Fairy but it sounds fab! I’ll have to check out Montana – I don’t know much about it. Maybe I will watch that movie! I’m not attracted to the areas in the US that most people like to visit. I love the mountains and countryside and there are some beautiful mountains and countryside in the US. I’m not into places like LA or Las Vegas. I wouldn’t mind a peek at NYC though – Central Park of course would be my favourite place there.

I did some leadlighting classes about 18 months ago that I loved and that led to me doing a series of panels for our stairs – I’d add a pic but can’t, so here’s a link to the post I wrote when I finished the stairs.

Oh Leanne they’re gorgeous! You did a great job! Did you enjoy the classes? Is it difficult to learn? I’d love to create some leadlighting of my own.

Well I can tick off flying in a helicopter but yes Min I share all of your dreams on the bucket list. It is important to really look at what we want to get out of this life and having it written down is a great way to revisit and work out ways to tick them off. Thanks for a great post I’m off to add more to my bucket list 🙂

    • Reply Min April 6, 2017 at 4:39 pm

How did you find the helicopter ride Sue? Hope it feels safe! haha Yes I find that having things written down helps to organise the mind and of course it’s then much easier to tick them off. I plan to get a list of about 100 together. Not sure I’ll get them all ticked off but it doesn’t hurt to dream and I will try my best to do as much of them as I can. 🙂

What a fabulous list, Min!! It’s so great to have such varied interests!! Now that I’ve been doing my blogging, I’ve found that photography is quite an art & can be so creative. So I’d love a photography tour!!
And if you ever make it to the US—Denver, Colorado—you have to let me know. so we can meet up!

The overseas ones are a bit of a stretch for me too Ingrid – but I want to go to those places so they are on my Bucket List. Oh wouldn’t Uluru at sunset be fabulous! A wine in hand – trays of yummy food being brought around. Bliss! 🙂 x
