I haven’t featured my two-year-old ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – ‘Ava’ on this blog before and I think it’s high time I did! Here are some snaps of her exploring our front garden. She has leaves, bark and other bits of the garden caught up in her ears and has also been chewing on her ears which knots them up. Guess who had to sit for ages that night brushing out her ears?!!

Lovely photos and of course a very cute little dog.
Thanks Tamara – I have to agree that she is a cutie! 😉
Oh my gosh Min, what a beautiful puppy you have. Great photographs. x
Thanks Bec – I think she is beautiful too! 🙂 x
Ava, looks like she has a very wise face. She reminds me of the wise wizards in movies like Harry Potter or The Hobbit. Watch her she might talk to you one day.
She does have a wise face Patrick cos she is a wise girl! She’d have to be cos she’s wrapped me around her little paws! She talks to me telepathically and understands everything I say to her. She’s clever! I think I would keel over in shock if she actually spoke ala Harry Potter wizard style! lol BTW – remember the Hollyhock Cottage you told me about in Richmond, Tasmania? Sadly, they’re not taking bookings at the moment. It’s ok though cos I found another gorgeous cottage that I’ve booked us in to: http://www.accommodation-tasmania.com.au/accomodation/bridge-cottage/ 🙂
The accommodation looks beautiful. In 1996 I came close to buying a BandB in Richmond. My childrens mother didn’t want to move. If I knew then what I knew now I would have done it anyway. But such is life. I hope that you enjoy your holiday Tassie is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Oh I love the 4th one and the last one! Super cute.
I love them all Toni – which is why I decided to post the lot! lol 🙂
Well that’s a bit cute! Looks like we’ve both got the cute factor this WW

We do indeed! 🙂
Pets really do hold a special place in our hearts don’t they?
They sure do! 🙂
Awww… little Ava is so cute! And great photos too. I’ve found that taking photos of pets is extremely challenging because they just don’t stand still!
But I think I’ve taken more photos of my puppy than I ever did of my two-legged kiddies, although probably because cameras in phones (and digital cameras) weren’t invented when my kids were at an age when they were happy to let me take their photo. And because the puppy is cuter. 😉
It sure isn’t easy to take photo’s of pets Lisa. It required a lot of patience to get those shots of Ava. I had to wait until she had done a lot of running around and finally settled in one spot on the grass. BUT – she kept moving her head so there were quite a few blurred shots when she moved her head just as I clicked! I wish the technology we have today was around when my kids were little. I would have so many more memories captured! 😉
Oh my what a gorgeous face! I don’t think I have ever seen one of these dogs close up before 🙂
They are the best! (I’m not biased at all!) 😉
hubby’s grandma had a king charles spaniel called Ben who ruled the house. Does Ava? Very cute! x
I’m not sure that Ava rules the house but she does rule all our hearts. We all love her very much. I love watching my 22 year old boys interact with her as the love is so openly evident! 🙂
Aww what a cutie! she’s beautiful. x
Thanks Danielle – we think she is beautiful too 🙂 x
