Wordless Wednesday: Botanic Gardens

November 5, 2014
flowers, nature, garden

I recently spent a morning with my husband strolling around the Mount Cootha Botanic Gardens here in Brisbane.  The purpose was to collect some more photographs that would hopefully go towards my final photography assignment.  I actually did use two images that I captured from this day towards the six images I needed to submit for my final assignment.  You may or may not know that I passed that assignment and have now graduated so I am very happy about that indeed!! 🙂

I took hundreds of photographs on this morning, many of which I have not yet looked at or edited, but here are some (none that were submitted for my photography assignment) that are not necessarily the best but show how beautifully uplifting and calming that nature is.

flowers, nature, garden

duck, duck out of water

Ciao for now,

My dad and stepmum literally live just round the corner from there. It’s a beautiful place to visit!

Sure is a beautiful place to visit Janet! It’s huge too and they are extending! I lived on that side of town growing up so have been there many times over the years 🙂

Thanks Leanne! We are very lucky here in Brisbane – two botanic gardens, Roma St gardens and Southbank! BTW – I am having trouble commenting on your blog from my new blog. Am trying to find a way around it! 😉 x
