Today for Wordless Wednesday I won’t be showcasing my photography as I usually do. Instead, I’m posting some daggy old snapshots (bar the first one) of my fraternal twin boys. Why?
Because today these little babies/boys turn 22!! How can that be?!
On 19 November 1992 at 11:19 am, I became a mother and my world was forever changed. The boys were born one minute apart. It was such a happy and exciting day!
Happy Birthday to my boys (err young men). I love you both more than you’ll ever know! I say this knowing that neither of them will see this because they don’t read my blog and lucky they don’t because they would be mortified and very embarrassed if they read today’s post! 😉 I will be sure to make a fuss of them off the blog as well. You can be sure of that! 🙂

This was taken up at the local shops. Can’t remember how old they were but not yet 12 months. This photo looks a bit old, tatty and discoloured but a larger version of it has been properly framed and is fairing much better!

New born – wrapped and snuggled at the hospital

They spent a lot of time in this pram because I couldn’t physically carry both of them at once for very long. I wheeled them around the house with me! They are parked in their nursery in this photo.

The twins turn 3!
Such a shame I didn’t have the photography experience I do now back then but I am ready for whenever I get grandkids! That is for sure! 😉
Ciao for now,

Thanks Jody LOL 😉 x
You captured some great memories there 🙂
Thanks Kaz – they are great memories. I get sad at how fast the time has gone! x
Happy birthday to your gorgeous twins! It really goes to show, they really do grow up too quickly. My youngest turned 13 this year, I’m finding it comprehend just where that time went.
Thanks Raychael – yep the time has flown. Now they are skinny, lanky young men and sadly – I too am much older! Poo! 😉
I think they are perfect photos. Love the way the clothes and furniture show us the time.
Very true about the clothes and furniture LOL Thanks Annaleis 😉 x
Cuties! I love how they were wrapped up together as newborns 🙂
They were gorgeous babies (of course I am biased) – so tiny when born! They were born at 36 wks (4 weeks early) – both just over 5lbs. 🙂
Oh how lovely Min and happy birthday to them!!!!
Thanks Deb! 🙂
Oh so much cute! Two is double the adorable. Happy birthday to your boys!! Men already!
Thanks Vicki – they were very cute. They were hard days though. Not much sleep for the first 12 months. All I remember is absolute exhaustion!! 😉
Such great memories. I can see those grandkids being photographed lots! Reminds me of when my oldest was younger, especially that blankie on the chair in photo 6 and the fashions 🙂
I think I will have quite a wait for grandkids but in the meantime my photography skills will keep on improving. I will get some awesome grandkid shots! 😉
They are so cute , heart melting and of course twin boys are awesome whatever age !
The photos are perfect memory triggers.
Thanks Trish – I get a bit nostalgic and sad when I look back at these photo’s. The time when they were little just flew by so fast!
