zen, calm, water, meditation, relax, relaxed,

A new guest post series – kicking off in January 2019!

I’ve decided to throw open the doors of my blog to guest posters from across the world in order to hear from a wide variety of people with various areas of expertise and perspectives on ways and means to achieve a sense of zen!

I have an open mind and I’d like my readers to also.  Let’s read and listen to various lifestyle choices that people make and that they recommend as helping to achieve a sense of zen.

What is zen I hear you ask?

Well I think it may mean different things to different people, but in this case it means to feel peaceful, relaxed, and calm.  It means feeling a sense of balance of body, mind and spirit.

Let me introduce you to a new guest post series starting on Tuesdays in late January 2019:

#ztt, #zentiptuesday, #zen, #balance, #tuesday

#zentiptuesday #ztt

Life is wonderful but let’s face it – life can be tough.  Some people are thrown more curve balls than others but ultimately none of us get through life without challenges.  There’s all manner of problems that we could face: stress, anxiety, grief, frustrations, worry, sadness, illness, pain, trauma, and more.

I think most of us would like to be able to handle these challenges that life throws at us better and most of us would like to feel more peaceful, relaxed and calm.  Agree?

So that is why I want to hear from as many people as possible on what helps them to achieve a sense of zen.  Let’s keep an open mind, an attitude of beginner’s mind, and enjoy.  There may be something amongst this series that could change a life.  My life.  Your life.  Who knows!

How to be part of the series

I have had a lot of interest via a Facebook group I’m a member of and already have posts scheduled every Tuesday up until April 2019, but the doors will stay open.  If you’re interested in participating in the series, please send me an email at min@writeofthemiddle.com with your topic idea and we can go from there.  Meanwhile, here’s a little something I prepared earlier with some more detail.

zen, zen tip tuesday, blog series, guest post, blog, blog series, guest blog series,

There is a new page in my menu at the top of the blog, so don’t worry if this post gets lost in time because all the information on how to participate in this series will be available via the new Zen Tip Tuesday page.  It will be updated once the series commences to ensure there are links to all little zen gem’s brought to us via #ZTT.

I’ll leave you with this quote from Oprah Winfrey.

The smallest change in perspective can transform a life. What tiny attitude adjustment might turn your world around?

Ciao for now,

I’d love you to join in Lydia. It doesn’t start until late January and already has posts up until April so it’ll still be going in February! The intention is for it to be ongoing as long as there is interest and contributors.

I love guest series Min and can’t wait to learn new ways of finding my Zen in life. Who knows I might even come up with an idea to be a guest for you! Great to have you back and hope you had a lovely time touring the Great Ocean Road. xx

I think you would be a great contributor Sue. You have many gems to share! I’m really looking forward to the series and am very open to hearing the thoughts of a diverse and interesting bunch of people worldwide. Thanks for the welcome back. The GOR was gorgeous! It’s taking me a while to get back into the swing of things though! I think because I have Christmas to contend with (and so not organised for it)! xo

I’ll put my thinking cap on Min and send some ideas to you but probably after Christmas as time is certainly getting away from us. Good luck with the series and thanks for sharing at #MLSTL. xx

That’s wonderful to hear Sue! After Christmas is perfectly fine. It’s far too busy this time of year to add more to the plate. The next gap for a #ZTT post that I have is for 19 March and the next one after that is 9 April & onwards – so plenty of time. xo

It’s a great idea, Min. You’re so organized…to have posts scheduled up until April 2019! I look forward to this series.

    • Reply Min December 6, 2018 at 11:54 am

Thanks Natalie! I’m really looking forward to it! I’m not that organised. I have a schedule of posts in an excel spreadsheet that people have put forward and agreed to write but they’re not scheduled within the blog as yet haha! xo

Hi there Leanne – your post most definitely will mesh with many! It’s already loaded in the back end of the blog and ready to go in early 2019! I will most definitely share some of the posts with #MLSTL. I plan to share this post there next week. xo

This will be a fabulous series Min – perhaps one you could make into an eBook too (with permissions) at a later date. Zen is so missing in our busy, stressed lives these days.. I think it will throw up some inspirational gems from midlife women in particular. I’d love to say I’ll contribute, but just not going to commit at this moment with Xmas and a busy start to next year. But please keep my name on file – that would be awesome. #MLSTL and shared on SM

Thanks Jo – fantastic idea about the eBook. I’ll be keeping that in mind for sure. I think that with the *switched on* way that we live now with social media and connectivity being so constant and accessible we are more wired and stressed than ever. Ways and means to chill out and achieve some zen has never been more important. I’m so excited to hear from a diverse range of people on what they do that helps them achieve some zen. I’d love you to be part of the series. There’s no rush. My next vacant spot for a post is 19 March and after that 9 April and onwards. I’ve had some lovely interest so far but need much more to keep this going throughout 2019 hopefully! Thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚ xo
